Just Not Good Enough
You know I like you
I know you do.
So I was just wondering,
If maybe you liked me too?
Many months ago we held hands,
You flirted quite a lot
And today we don't even speak
Maybe someday soon we will talk.
It still hurts me inside
How did it end up this way?
Like nothing ever happened
Believe me, it's not okay.
Do you really think this is alright?
To treat every girl but me like their a pearl
I guess how I feel is true
I'll just never be a good enough girl.

Such innocence is painful bliss to read. It must have really sucked to go through this. My poem 'It wouldn't hurt so bad if we didn't pretend' has a similar theme. Good write.
