Just Not To Say Goodbye Poem by L.A Barboza

Just Not To Say Goodbye

Rating: 5.0

Go back to the deep realms,
Where you belong,
And play the song,
And sing it for whatever time long.

Go lose youself in the mist,
With your desperate wish for anihilation.
If someone you want to kiss,
Then go ask the butcher for self-mutilation.

I have been the puppet,
The marionette you used to play with.
But now I know what is like to be in,
Touching Hell´s flaming skin.

My feelings are not a menagerie,
For you to watch.
You don´t even feel,
The heat of a flaming heart.

Lighten my words,
As you read them by,
When you realize that I´m gone,
You will say 'Oh My.'

You were the journey,
Of time´s death.
You were the insolence,
Of my heart´s offense.

You would end one life,
To raise antoher back from Heaven´s night.
You would end one soul,
Just to make another one look at you when you passed by.
You would leave the world behind,
Just not to say goodbye.
