Kaaya Poem by Moh Madaaki

Kaaya

When it rained.
I saw Kaaya's tears.
She cried like a newbie, aggrieved.
He stood there and watched.
Being paid for a ransom.
Kaaya took the time shared.

When it rained.
I saw Kaaya's tears.
She cried like hell would break loose, aggrieved.
Her wishes, of the wishful.
A mirage.
Or a stalwart reality?

When it rained.
I saw Kaaya's tears.
She cried, aggrieved.
Leaving those same old scars.
To Kaaya like ages.
In love for an escape.

When it rained.
I saw Kaaya's tears.
She cried like the bereaved, aggrieved.
Contemplating a song.
Barely surrounded by rhythm.
To Kaaya like the choir.

When it rained.
I saw Kaaya's tears.
She cried with a blubbering sound, aggrieved.
Loneliness at its best.
Fondly hoping things will emerge.
To Kaaya like fantasy.

When it rained down.
I saw Kaaya's tears.
She cried and wailed, aggrieved.
She took hours to wipe our tears.
But just a second to shed them.
To Kaaya, reassuring.

When it rained.
I saw Kaaya's tears.
She cried and grieved.
To Kaaya an ordeal.
To Kaaya a can of worms.
Oh Kaaya
