Nothing can stop words from flowing
From the rain it rains knowing
In someone's being it is growing
For someone's boat it is rowing

Stop words and you stop life as we know it
Because that's the way relationships sow it
Words hydrate and our faces show it
Words trickle, run, flow or just blow it

All are invited to talk but no words to say
Yet in our minds rain is ready in rapid array
Our lips carry texture and our ears stray
To hear we planted a garden or left the skies grey
