Kids Poem by Sotirios Skoufis

Kids

I took it all
I took my parents
I tried to take my soul
I didn't it's a joke

I took my friends
I throwed myself out of school
I've send me back home
to Greece-that was nice

You know what?
I have 3 kids
I took them away
Now I'm here and pray

They live far away
How'l' they develop, when their real dad is not their way?
Who'll play with them?
Who'll do math, who'll do english? ?

Their mother works all day
kids are alone at home
alone at the streets
I am afraid

This can't be possible
This can't be true
My dear kids
I'll never get back to you! !

I'll stay here in my country
I'll raise you through Skype
say bye to your mother
I hope she's all right ……….

I grew up with no parents after I was 12
That's what I've become
My oldest daughter she is 12, the other one is 9
my boy is 3
