What an utterly charming poem. It took me back to when my father would take me every weekend to the Zoo and I imagined myself the luckiest child alive. To be able to see all those wonderful animals and be with y father, too. It is amazing what poetry can stir as emotions and memories. Prose does not have the same magical effect. Amazing! Thanks for a very good moment. 10/10 for this one.
