Killing Myself Poem by Chanchal Kumar

Killing Myself

I think I should kill myself
this evening.
(Must google the most painless way)

Because I couldn't answer the question
you asked in class.
So silly of me to only blush and bumble.
And ofcourse I'm worthless.
And ofcourse I have no right to exist.

So what if it rained yesterday,
The air felt really cool.
So what if the squirrels are funnier than ever,
Their fluffy tails the happiest things I ever saw.
So what if the dog I met on my way back
Was really kind and didn't mind at all
When I ran my hand through its soft fur.

I'm so ashamed I let you down.
So thankful you made me realize I'm no good.
Guess I'm the stain in your new cotton shirt.
I'm such a disgrace I'm really sorry for being myself.

I hope you forgive me after I'm gone.
