Kindergarten Science. Poem by Charles Karia

Kindergarten Science.

Why are you mesmerized by the streams,
And you have not seen the oceans yet?
You have conducted some experiments,
And now data and proof you have got,
Which now your reason greatly limits,
To only that which you can put to test.

Your obsession with physical proof,
Has now made you become God blind.
Can you weigh lust or measure love?
Yet you acknowledge themin your mind.
You are so limited and eternally naive,
To only believe what senses can find.

Those reams that can't be measured,
And what can't be weighed doesn't exist.
To faith matters you become very rabid,
Often putting almighty God to the test:
Proof immaculate conception dear God,
Or even make your angels now manifest.

He wants you to unconditionally believe,
The proof and testament that is his word.
Not the kindergarten science you have,
To taste, smell and touch you're tethered,
Come up now to the higher faith wave,
Graduate, test things but believe in him.

Elders Pascal and Boyle never stumbled.
They invented greatly but kept the faith.
Jesus they knew yetwidely discovered,
Many things that were previously myth,
Knowledge need not make you so blind,
Loose its chokehold and take a breath.
