Kiss Me More Poem by Montserrat Martinez

Kiss Me More

Remember that first kiss?
I do.
Do you? Tell me more…
I remember a tender desert of sugarplum
A bonbon of syrupy sugariness
Your lips were made of a bittersweet mixture
Of toffee and violets,
You tasted of lasciviousness and eagerness
Like a forbidden tale of romantic love
An old wine of pleasing flavour
That numbed me with infatuation
Come closer, Love
Cover me in kisses and let me taste
In perpetuity, all of the above.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Kissing is such an intimate beautiful thing to experience that I thought it deserved a poem.
