Knighthood Poem by Justin Gildow

Knighthood

In the sunny and quiet meadow
Highlighted by me and my shadow
I dropp to one knee
In front of the Queen
And I think about what's soon to transpire
Another transition to begin in my life

The ceremony begins
And things said to me, things that I realize
Everything that I'm told, I understand
And I'm cleansed by the royalty of England

I'm now a white knight of the purest sense
And I'll be loyal and fight for the peace of England
