Krysta Poem by Justin Gildow

Krysta

Things are happening throughout the shire
And I'm not sure if this will be our day
Or if it'll be out reckoning
But it's just us two Krysta
Just me and you

You look pretty in your attire
Which is a Fleur De Lys dress
Matched with a peasant blouse
And I'm in high spirits
Since I'm wearing my wizard costume
Which is silver and blue

Sitting on a large rock
With me on one side
And you on the other side
Right now, right here, in the shire
Minutes seems to fly so fast around the clock

Being the ages that we are
It's almost remiscent to me of pairings I know
so well of
Like Reinhardt Schneider and Carrie Fernandez
Or Richter Belmont and Maria Renard

Like the ones I mentioned
Joining forces with you Krysta
I can tell it's special for you
And you can tell it's nice for me
Magic somehow is in the air
While the skies still stay blue

As the hours and minutes vanish one by one
We walk and we march on
Throughout the shire

We can participate in the peasant dance
If you want to take the chance
We can have a lot of fun
As well as have the time of our lives
We can also dance with others in the streets
of the shire
Provided we make it there on time
Krysta

Let's join up with the royal procession
We can carry flags
Flags of different countries
Countries that are well respected by
Her Majesty
Our good Queen
We can march along our way with many
other friends and acquaintances
To the chessboard for the chess match

As the hours move along
And day has gone and night is here
Many have gathered for Finale In Song
At the top of the hill we sit on a rock
Like we did earlier in the day
We admire what's going on
On stage and in the front

Through this day
Through this night
We became friends
We became comrades
Krysta
