A Knitted Knot.
Tether I have always searched for:
around corners, in holes, beside rocks,
in caves.
I knew you would be natural,
so I didn’t leave the woods.
Because,
It’s like the air,
this thing between us.
Not in between us,
but amongst us.
Tying us together,
a centripetal Knot,
spinning us into a frenzy.
Each second more intense
and more
wonderful than the half—
a—second before.
A windy calm that soothes me inside my torrid atmosphere,
this Knitted Knot.
Ephemeral loop of me and you.
My Knitted Knot of air.
