Know Myself. Poem by Jason Yarkie

Know Myself.

Depression sets in as my heart starts to pound,

My knees start to shake as I fall to the ground.

My eyes start to water, my heart starts to cry,

Through all of this pain, my lips start to lie.

My soul has a lock, my heart is the key,

My disguise will be gone, who I am you shall see.

Pry if you will, pull if you might,

Try if you can, try it all night.
