Knowing - Poem by Jonathan Aguilar
Listen, can you hear it calling your name?
It tells you to do what you believe is right and restrains you from doing what you know is wrong.
If you do something wrong it might be the one you choose to blame.
It helps you during those confusing moments when you don't know which judgment should belong.
Have you ever said something that you wish you could take back?
Well, if you had listened to that little voice inside your head,
Maybe nobody would have gotten hurt from those hurting and depressing words that you said.
If you do things that you know are bad, maybe it's the use of your conscience that you lack.
All you have to do is remember my advice.
When your faced with difficult choices, try to look at the problem through your conscience's wise and faithful eyes.
