Kuhu, Kuhu*

My voice spreads the charm
the relations get warm
it does no harm
people get arm to arm

it has the magic
it spells well for the psychic
he also stares and enjoys
the music is of immense joy

koel or you call it cuckoo
I am not confined to the zoo
I sit on top of the tree
and sing freely

it is for my love
and I believe
he will respond
with my sweet sound

"kuhu kuhu kuhu kuhu"* sound feels the air
morning walkers rush here
I hide in branches
and watch them with joggings
