Laboring Limbs Poem by William Coyne

Laboring Limbs

Fertile limbs so richly decked in Spring
with color lush and lovely green,

laboring quiet throughout the Summer
under leaves, and rarely seen,

endure chilled breezes come in Autumn
to take the waving weaves away,

shivering naked, betoken Winter,
and herald the early snows ballet.
