Lady Of Virginia Poem by Alexander Foald

Lady Of Virginia

There was a light
Beneath the darkest night
I can feel it in my grasp
No more worries I could hide

There was smile
Within the frozen air
Someone standing on the bay
Wavering, shaking hands of a woman

There was secret
That people not used to talk about
The forgotten one lying in the dept of ocean
By a pink scarf; a lady of Virginia
