Lake Poem by Nameless Yokai

Lake

Rating: 4.5

Sitting at the work table,
Looking through the window.
The sunshine illuminates exactly
On the surface of the lake.
The glint is superbly glaring,
The glint is superbly ablaze.
Behind the fulgurant creature,
The mountains are in sight.
Hazily.
They are now
Not the protagonists anymore,
They could now merely be viewed
As diligent figurants.
At intervals,
A few boats floats on the brilliant lake.
They as well
Are only pretty decorations
By the time.
Time flies invisibly away,
Yet I stare at the lake,
Ecstasize.
Such a beauteous lake!
What a wonderful time!
