The way of life
Its divergent cultures
A wonderful collection
Of great artworks
Of Nature
And creative souls
Sharing people
In commonness
Dominating
Regional features
Of great India
A land of festivals
Seasons and colours.

While taking
Mind's eye on a trip
To the land of colours
Into countryside-
Pushing all boundaries
To insatiable appetite
Emerging foremost
Themes out of variety
Displaying
The emblem of unity
In diversity
Keeping that up
Playing new series
And new innings
Of inventive games.

While taking look back
At nationwide journey
The great gratification
Looks like
Stress being natural
Element of life
And people carrying it
Lightly
Without realizing
In view of a busy
Festive calendar
Combating
Stress and strain
Allowing jovial guts
Taking over
Season after season
Rejoicing ‘HOLI'
A lot of amuse and joy
And colours into lives
Generating a spirit
Spirit of adore and unity
Blissfulness and glee
With myriad hues
Refreshing
Mind and relations
Together with family
And close friends
Breeding
Love and affection.

While taking
A chase together
Playing and laughing
Boosting the morale
Of relationships
Though not only
So as to
But, also offerings
Of traditional worship
Of gods for rich harvests.

While taking
Getting get together
In a spirit full of fun
Forgetting problems
Forgiving everyone
Improving all relations
By ringing out stress
And strain
And ringing in
The spirit of joy
Love and cheers s such
Celebrating
The festival of colours.
