Last Breathe Poem by avani chomal

Last Breathe

Rating: 3.8

I fought slow and steady,
Till the dark kept rising,
Surrender myself in an hour,
To be just and fill with pride.

My breathe is getting heavy,
The time is being speedy,
I'm holding my nerve cold,
To get the flow smoothly and simply.

Meanwhile let's have a talk,
To make silence disappear,
Have a control over my heartbeat,
Just wander around, let's have a beer.

Cheers to the abyss,
What fell in my life,
No clue from where,
Out of the dust into the night.

It remained untouched how well I fought,
This is not what my education taught,
Saying well to fight proudly,
I do fear, somewhere cowardly.

The breathe is getting tighter,
Oh wow! I can see the might,
Far from some alienated place,
Comes the light shining so bright.

I stopped the and felt peace,
No sound no surround but free,
Hard to go away from,
This is how I REST IN PEACE.

Great imagery with an uncommon subject treated with utmost care and emotional touch. Thanks. Far from some alienated place, Comes the light shining so bright.
