Last Chance Poem by Rich Reitz

Last Chance

This loneliness won't pass me by.
I'm so depressed it makes me cry.
All alone again today.
No one will come out to play.

I took her to the high school dance.
Now she won't come out; she's had her chance.
All I wanted was one true friend.
Now I'm finished. This is the end.

It feels as if my soul's infected;
Once was loved, but now rejected.
Looking down the barrel of this gun;
If I pull the trigger, then it's done.

I'll learn if God or Satan won.
