Last Kiss Poem by Cory The Alchemist

Last Kiss

Everybody screaming
Buildings imploding and exploding
Corpses concealed the ground
I saw her face
Surrounded by death
I knew right then
Love at first sight
She knew too
I walked
She ran
Finally in each others arms
Strangers
Lovers
Bullets sizzling past our heads
Our first kiss
Crushed against one another
Blinded by passion
First, soon to be last
A sphere of dissolution
Lands only a few feet away
Approaching death
Only to fuel our passion
To reach unimaginable levels
The blast
Stole our lives
But not our love
It split the pavement
But not our embrace
I will
Remember the first kiss
But will cherish the last.
