Forbidden Love Sees No End Poem by Cory The Alchemist

Forbidden Love Sees No End

Rating: 5.0

Her beauty, like the sunrise
Thousands gather, to watch in surprise
As they find themselves, again seduced
Astonished to discover
That her charm is never reduced
Jealousy, a prejudice
That is never late,
Shows her face
That is beautifully irate
As her mischief is in bloom
She knights flesh of her flesh
As the bringer of doom
Glee clouds her eyes
As she plots her foes demise
She plans the cleverest of schemes
The kind that bear nightmarish dreams
Only to be swindled
By her son, whose love has begun to kindle

His love arrives at his colossal abode
But she is soon shown her twisting road
Her phantom lover whispers angelic phrases
Though is never seen when the sun raises
Her mystery voice disappears in the midst of twilight
As quick as the day destroys the night
The fantasies of darkness concealed by a single ray
Only to release the realities of day
She searches for her suitor
But only encounters a seducer
A jealous but crafty vixen
Requesting a preposterous mission
The receiver of the task
Wonders if logic is too much to ask
The keeper of her heart
Summons up hope that makes the task easy to thwart
History is doomed to repeat
At least until her love is back on his feet
With the alliance of one with much insight
The twisted, gnarled path was set right
With one sip of immortality
The night was made a reality.
