Last Link With Love Poem by Low Li Ling Jasmine

Last Link With Love

Rating: 5.0

I gaze up, reading the mysteries in the cloud
I think of you
A puzzle that leaves me with thousand of conflicting sparks
What is it about you that with a look could bring me a silent smile
What is it about you that with a word could banish me deep into the abyss
And a face that could bring me close to tears

I figured I could not be the one
To be the light that illuminate your path
The star to warm your mantle of darkened night

I wish I have a scintilla of her luck
To be able to cast magic for your full geninue smile
To be the droplets of lingering affection in your eyes
And pardon to be the face that intrudes into your mind

I gulped back the emotions, replacing it with cups of wine
In a drunken stupor
You are nothing but a faint silhouette in my mind's eyes...

I like the lyric and the passion embedded in the poem. It is a fine piece.
