Last Night Poem by James Casey

Last Night

Rating: 5.0

Last Night

Last night I had a dream you were with me.
We laughed and talked and played.
It was like it was always meant to be.
I wish so bad you could have stayed.

Last night I cried cause I missed you
My heart was burdened with much pain.
I kept thinking about things that I should do.
Without you my life has not been the same.

Last night I wrote you a letter.
I poured my heart out and emptied my mind.
I searched for ways to make our time together better.
Some way to survive this test of time.

Last night I had a dream that you were with me.
We laughed and talked and played.
It was like it was always meant to be.
I wish so bad you could have stayed.
