Late Winter 2008 Poem by Patrick Keenan

Late Winter 2008

look from the middle out
to see the days lengthen into Spring
Noon get rounder and rounder
a peak to a slope to a plain
easier & easier
on the legs of time to climb
& the mind's eye wander
from dream to season
and your own two
notice thru the window passed
how much more open
it seemed as your glance reflected
as you kept passing
