For all the heartburns I gave you
My love, I do deeply regret
I wanted to cry my heart out
To tell you that I am sorry but
I ended up laughing at myself
I could never tell you, my love
Neither did i realise before
All the pranks that life played
On me, taught me to laugh hard
I learned to laugh so well that
The tears in my eyes dried up
Every time I try to cry I end up laughing
I want to cry a thousand rivers of tears
For the pain, sorrow and suffering
I have caused and I have endured
Try all I might and I have tried it all
I still keep laughing while my heart bleeds
Laughing at my inability to express
Laughing at my helplessness
Laughing at the fool I see in my mirror
Laughing till I cry tears of blood
For once I want to be human again
For once I want to cry like a man
