Layer Over Layer Poem by Shane Engisch

Layer Over Layer

Certain things create a chime and remind of times before a life
Advertising, a simple phrase one will say to another, an action much like one you feel you've seen
Will play with your senses like this isn't real

Then another sound like an echo of a bell chiming up ahead triggers a feeling of anticipation
as if it's destiny calling,
you already know it to be true, but it's waiting patiently for the next turn

Sometimes dreams feel more real than this reality, though I know that's not true?

One life's spark, One life's wave continues on and on with it's energy until it reaches the end of infinity

Could a new life over lap frequencies and match circumstance with another?

Or does the divine shine through a soul-prism creating a rainbow of lives lived past, present, and future?

I'm not for certain, but the fact it tickles my brain more than enough through the day everyday, tells me it's something to look into
