Leaden Tears Poem by Holly Heron

Leaden Tears

Rating: 5.0

These tears are leaden weights,
They tear apart this face,
Drowning out my screams,
Choking on lost words,
My heart can't take the pressure,
my eyes can't take the pain,
These weighted tears fall freely,
My soul, my spirit too,
These tears they kill me slowly,
I'm bleeding from their wounds
