Leaf In The Fall Poem by Melisa Bri

Leaf In The Fall

Rating: 4.0

It is always the wrong time
I'm always saying good bye
to things I never had

If only I could fix my grasp
my gaze recognizing
the essentials for a good life

What is a good life?
If not getting what you want
The right things, the right time
at the place where they meet

And here I lay
broken compass
Upside down

I can't breathe...
