Learn - Poem by stephanie varnadore
Come up to the helm
It's time to take control
Of your own realm
And stop fearing the toll.
Do not let fear rule your life,
That will only leave you in pain.
I did not want it to cause strife
But only you could make it in vain.
Why can't you see it?
But that's the way you choose.
Even though it is shit,
This is why I keep on my toes.
This is what you need to learn.
Learn to be a little less of a player,
And learn how to discern.
Or you will be visited by the slayer.
Don't go from girl to girl.
Stick with just one,
With all her quirks and curls,
And let your love for her weigh more than a ton.
