Learning To Be Contented Poem by Andrew Lee

I was browsing the news reports via Channel News Asia
and was shocked to find a news article on a 24 year old girl
afflicted with serious Brain Tumour and bedridden,
leading a near-vegetative existence.
My heart goes to her and her family.
I begin viewing Youtube programmes that feature
the Wonders of the World,
since at the age of 49, I no longer have the strength
to visit them, fearing I might be gone soon.
After viewing them, I'm grateful
that Youtube has enabled me to vicariously visit them
and appreciate their grandeur.
