Leave - Poem by Petra Soliman
I still think about the past,
What was there for me to do to avoid this?
You were just selfish,
You cared too much about yourself,
You never helped me.
I've always went so far just to help you,
You knew I was going too far,
Why didn't you care?
Why didn't you stop me?
Why didn't you stop caring about yourself,
And just cared enough about me to be honest,
Why all the lies?
Standing there you were,
You said all those words that broke me into pieces,
What a friend you were,
How could you ever say those things to me?
I've been nothing but caring and loving,
Everything I did was for you,
Everything I've said was for you,
But you're too immatured to understand what is
A real friendship.
You have gained so much from what I have given to you,
But I have got nothing left,
Where are you now, what are you doing,
That was about it all,
Was it wrong to care about you?
Or even try to protect you?
You are nothing, but a living trouble,
And only now I have opened my eyes,
To see it all, to realize everything,
To come to the conclusion, how terrible you are.
Now I just wish you could just leave,
Go away, never come back,
I can't imagine seeing you again,
This hate inside me would love to hit your face,
To smash your head into pieces,
To kick every part inside and outside of you.
Leave, before I end up hurting you, physically.
