The Sun rose like a revelation
illuminating the darkness of my ignorance.
Intrigued, yet defiant,
I followed the light it offered
even though there were times
when it blinded me.
I argued
and refused to see what I found inconvenient.
At last, when sufficient of the answers
had discovered their questions,
I gained some enlightenment.
Perhaps I should have proclaimed it
from the proverbial roof-tops.
Instead I hid it beneath a bushel
for fear it would condemn me.
