It’s Sunday night
The sun sets low
You and I are both walking slow.
You grab my hand
And hold it tight
Saying you have to leave tonight
I turn to you
And kiss your face
And hold you in a sweet embrace
Letting go
Is what I fear
Because you were the one I let so near
Remembering all the times
Things we went through
It just makes it harder to not be with you
But to be standing here
And feeling your touch
Makes all my problems not seems so much
Leaving me was not your choice
We knew it would happen
No opinion anyone could voice
Your body begins to shake
You start to cry
I lean down and whisper “True love will never die.”
You’ll be in my heart forever
All the things that we’ve done
I won’t ever forget
And I swear that our love won't ever be undone
