Leaving Poem by Katniss Everdeen

Leaving

You say your sorry
But it's not enough
Not anymore
Not after all that stuff
That you did to me
When the times were rough
And even through
All the lies and the bluff
I still loved you
But it wasn't good enough

How can you expect
Me to stick around
You were just
The rebound
But now
Were bound
For ever and ever
You will surround
Me, with your kicks and slaps
And the pounds,

But I have a way out
I'm leaving at dawn
I have packed my bags
And I will be gone
I am leaving you
Tomorrow morn
And I hope
You become withdrawn
You'll miss your punchbag
You will mourn
Me
