This shouldn't be happening
It is taboo
But I have a guilty pleasure
I can't stay away from you
I know I have to though
This forbidden love is through

We both have lives
This is just a bit of fun
And yet, still, I am drawn to you
But I am bound to another one
My one true love
This forbidden love is done

Stay away from me
The temptation is too great
This is just lust
I cannot bear the judgement weight
We do not belong together
This forbidden love, I hate

We both chose to betray
But it was once, not twice, or more
I cannot bear this burden
I can't take it anymore
I need to get out of this place
This forbidden love is causing war

I must confess, tell the truth
I cannot live with this lie
I am torn between two hearts
This burden makes me want to lash out and cry
I can only live with the truth
This forbidden love is killing me inside

I need to get out
I can't deal with this load
