Leaving You Poem by Norchel Tingson

What’s happening to us?
Why is the time so fast?
Are we not meant to be together?
These questions I cannot answer.

In just a short while,
You were mine.
I know it’s a mistake,
It’s the worst that we have made.

We tried to keep our feelings,
But still something’s missing.
We couldn’t be apart,
It’s the truth from our hearts.

Few weeks from now,
I will be leaving.
It’s so sad to show
That forever it’s you who I will love.

I wrote this poem simply,
Just to let you not to forgive me.
I hope this wouldn’t be the last goodbye,
To you my only lucky guy.
