Lebanon, this poem is for you
I wish it is not, but it's true

Lebanon, I want to say goodbye
The hope in you became a lie

Lebanon, a piece of sky?
Because it rains when we cry

Lebanon, consider this as a breakup
Our chins are down, it used to be up

Lebanon, you changed a lot
We tried to help, but you did not

Lebanon, who are we going to blame?
For turning our pride into shame

Lebanon, this poem is for you
