Left Me To Die - Poem by brittney blandon

I shouted until my voice was dry, but you didn't answer. The shards of glass that I picked up, that cut deeply into my skin and for the times I was beaten up, I cried for you, but still no answer. For the thunderstroms that shook me, you weren't there. And the last time I called you for help, you didn't answer. And that's when the gun shot.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

No was there for me that's why i'm afraid of thunderstorms and most of all.....being alone.
