Legacy Of Ashes Poem by Aman Biswas

Legacy Of Ashes

As the embers rise
We fall into our own ashes
Only to awake to reveal
A world full of desolation

We've wasted all our time
Only because we chose to be blind
We suspected the light
But neglected all the lies

And even now, while we lie
In the ashes of our own lives
We choose not to open our own eyes
To let the lies blind our sight

We've wasted all our time
We've wasted all our lives
Only to leave a legacy
Of ashes behind.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

poem has a good way of expressing the ignorance, in general about the life.how we choose to become blind, be fibbers , when there is always light. and by the way, what an awesome title.
