Legions War Poem by Aimee Nell

Legions War

In this world of truth and falsities,
So hard to tell the difference.
Those words you speak,
Crazy enough to be real.
But I don't know the truth from a lie anymore.
I don't know whats right or wrong.
I don't know anything.
Should I let them die?
Let their fears,
Their pasts,
Their lives,
Rule their hearts?
I stand alone.
I have to fight alone.
One man fighting a legions war.
A war against the world.
But it's worth fighting,
Isn't it?
You fight for the people you love,
And what you believe in.
But how do you fight life?
How do you slay the circumstances
That threaten to destroy everything?
