You were the light,
That led me through the storm when I'd wander off the path.
You were the one,
That held my hand when I was frightened.
You were the voice,
That whispered 'I love you' in my ear,
When I thought no one cared.
You were the moon in my night sky,
Something I could look up and see every night.
But now, the light has gone out.
I feel lost and scared.
Like no one cares.
I look to the sky,
For one last thing to hold on to...
And all that meets my eyes...
Is darkness........
