Less Broken Poem by aimylea Cryer

Less Broken

Rating: 5.0

With eyes that sparkle,
even in the night,
a beautiful smile
that I can't fight.
You gaze upon me,
emotions run through.
you're my baby
and I love you.
my life was empty
filled with shame,
now tiny hands matter
when spoken, your name.
a being so tender,
undying affection.
My soul renders a heart less broken.

Aimylea the title alone is marvelous and the poem certainly delivers on its promise of something wonderful. I love the title because we all are 'walking wounded' in life but love both received and perhaps even more the love we give does so much to make us feel 'Less Broken'.
