Lessons In Life Poem by NikMorgan ...

Lessons In Life

School was a drag
I thought I was cool
I wasted my time
Playing the fool
I didn’t learn my lesson
The teachers didn’t care
They too lacked motivation
Their interests were elsewhere
I left with nothing
Certificate free
Had no aspirations
To who I should be
To swindle the statistics
They put me on a course
To teach me that money
Is life’s only driving force
Now for a weekly pittance
I toil and I sweat
My education or lack of it
I have learned to regret
