Lest We Forget Poem by Ben Huff

Lest We Forget

Lest we forget
Our family
Friends
Mentors that changed our lives
Never asking
Always Giving
Truth
To forget would be a sin against ourselves
For we do not deserve so much wonder
That forgives all of our blunders
For it’s a gift we can never truly repay
Although we’ll search eternity for a way
But no matter how far we part
We’ll see them all in the morning
In the sweet by and by
