Let Go... Poem by Kamalakar Arakala

Let Go...

Wanting together
Vanished in thin air altogether!

Lonely with each other
Lovely to all others

Ideas run parallel
Nothing in common
To converse
The gear is mostly in reverse!

Opinions are open
Minds are closed

Monosyllabic
Silent nods
Empty stares fill the air
Nothing to clear the air!

Minutes merge into months
Into years
In the eve of life
Terrible is the strife!

What are we holding?
What are we shielding?
What is it yielding?

Tears are welling
Hearts are yelling

Yet we both are unwilling
To let go that
We don't even know
We hold!
