Let Go Of Her Poem by Jason Yung

Let Go Of Her

I admit,
I was afraid
to let go.
Not just let go
but to let go of her.
She was the first one
who forced me to open my
locket. Trying to hold all of the luscious
melting chocolate.
But, I sobbed in my dream.
And my heavy tears
rushed into my locket.
Day by day,
fading taste,
fading color,
until there is nothing left.
I fear the unknown,
just like the others.

She was the chocolate.
I am just a boy
who love chocolate.
But I just realized
chocolate is in the air.
