In the beginning all I did was try
I did everything that I could
In the end I didn’t mean to let it die

Nothing I did satisfied you
Everything I did wrong u noticed

You forgave me when I cheated
I know it takes time for wounds to heal

The last thing I wanted to do was hurt you
But I realized that that’s all I did
In the beginning all I did was try

You told me things you never told anyone
We did things that I can still remember
After the time that we’ve spent together

The ups and downs I realized that
You were never the problem between us
I am and I’m the one that’s keeping
Us apart from each other’s love
