Let Me Live Poem by Aksa Arooja

Let Me Live

Rating: 5.0

Once I was a tiny seed,
The society cared my need.
I grew up as valentine,
Now my my age is fourteen.
I wake me up with dreams, and fulfill it with tiny things.
In the case of violence,
I made my own silence.
No matter how it is,
Make your own the best.

WHY DONT PEOPLE LET ME LIVE? ? ?

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
'Discovered an old notebook from my 9th grade days while cleaning my room! Stumbled upon this poem I wrote back then, and it brought back a flood of memories. I'm amazed at how raw and honest it is. I'd love for you to read it and reflect on it in your own way. Compare it to your own life experiences and interpret it through your own lens. What do you think? '
